Overview
I built Valyuz's visual identity from - giving a licensed EMI a brand that feels as credible and secure as the institution itself.
Valyuz needed a visual identity that could carry the weight of being a licensed EMI - trustworthy enough for businesses to hand over their banking relationship, but modern enough to compete with newer fintech players. I built that identity from scratch, so the brand felt complete from day one.
Challenge
As a licensed EMI, Valyuz needed to come across as secure, without feeling cold or overly corporate. There was no visual language yet - no defined logo usage, colour rules, typography, or iconography - so early collateral risked looking disconnected piece to piece.
Impact
I developed Valyuz's entire visual identity: logo usage and spacing, a black-and-white core palette with blue and orange accents, Sofia Pro as the typeface, and an icon and photography style built around a clean, minimal, monotone look. I carried that through business cards, brochures, and supporting graphic elements - establishing one brand across every touchpoint.
